Okay, here is my sharing about how I remade the PRADA Tessuto Nylon Backpack Bag.
I saw this PRADA backpack online and I thought, “Hey, I can totally make that!” So I decided to give it a shot. First, I needed to get all the stuff to make it. I bought some black nylon fabric, cause that’s what the bag is made of. I also got some black thread, zippers, and buckles. I already had a sewing machine at home, so that was good.
I started by drawing out a rough pattern. I just looked at pictures of the bag and tried to copy the shape and size. It wasn’t perfect, but it was good enough to start with. I then cut out the fabric according to my pattern. I made sure to cut two pieces for the front and back, and some smaller pieces for the sides and pockets.
- Sewed the front and back pieces together.
- Attached the sides to make the main body of the bag.
- Added some pockets on the inside and outside. This was a bit tricky, but I managed to do it after a few tries.
- Sewed on the straps.
- Attached the zippers and buckles.
Finishing Touches
Finally, I added a little PRADA logo that I made from a piece of metal. I just shaped it and painted it black. It looked pretty close to the real thing! I was so happy with how it turned out. I mean, It wasn’t as good as the original, but it was still pretty awesome. I started using it right away, and I got a lot of compliments on it. It was a fun project, and I learned a lot about sewing and making bags. I’m definitely going to try making more stuff in the future!
I think everyone should try to make their own stuff. It’s really satisfying to create something with your own hands. Plus, you can save a lot of money by making things yourself instead of buying them. So go ahead and give it a try! You might surprise yourself with what you can create.
