Digging into the Details
- Gathering Intel: I spent hours reading about the Gondolo. It’s got this Art Deco vibe, which is super cool. The case is 18k rose gold and it’s curved. Fancy, huh? The bezel has all these awesome gems, too.
- Finding Parts: This was tough. I mean, we’re talking about a Patek Philippe here, not just any watch. I had to find parts that looked like the real deal. The real one has a sapphire crystal, so I tried to find something similar.
- The Movement: The original has a quartz movement, the Calibre E15. I figured I could find something like it. Quartz movements are easier to work with, so that was a plus.
Putting It Together
