This here bag, they call it the YSL June Box Bag, yeah, that’s the one. Heard some folks talkin’ ’bout it, sayin’ it’s a real fancy thing. They say it’s somethin’ special, somethin’ you gotta have. Reminds me of them city folk, always wantin’ the newest, shiniest thing. Well, I seen a lot in my days, and I tell ya, a bag’s a bag. But this one, they say it’s worth a pretty penny. They say it is a hot cake. I don’t know why, but it is hot.
This June Box Bag, they say it’s made from the best stuff. Some kind of fancy leather, I reckon. Soft, like a baby’s behind. They say it is the best. And the way they put it together, real careful-like. Not like some of them cheap things you see around. This one’s built to last, they say. Like them old houses, built with good strong wood. Not like now, cheap wood!
And the name, oh, that name! Yves Saint Laurent. Sounds like a king or somethin’. They say it’s a big deal, this name. Means it’s good quality, means it’s gonna cost ya. I don’t know about all that. I can see the bag is good. Good thing is always expensive. You get what you pay for, I always say. I know the young people like it. They like this YSL thing.
Now, I seen pictures of this bag. It’s a boxy thing, kinda like them old lunch pails. But fancier, ya know? Shiny and all. They say you can carry it to any fancy place. Parties, weddings, all that. I guess it’s supposed to make you look good. Maybe it does, I don’t know. But I still think a bag’s a bag. Don’t need no fancy bag to go to the market. This bag is good for those party, not good for market.
They changed the name, used to be somethin’ else. Yves Saint Laurent, now it’s just Saint Laurent. Like they cuttin’ corners or somethin’. But folks still know it’s the same thing. Just like when old man Johnson changed the name of his store, still the same store. Everyone knows it. It is just a name. What is in the bag is more important.

They got this one bag, they call it the Loulou. Sounds like a bird to me. And another one called Kate. Like that neighbor girl, Kate. Always dressed up. But I like this June Box Bag best. Don’t know why, just like it. This bag is the best one. I want to get one, but so expensive.
Why are these bags so much money? Well, they say it’s ’cause of that fancy name. And ’cause they’re made so good. Like I said, you get what you pay for. But still, that’s a lot of money for a bag. Could buy a whole lot of groceries with that kind of money. But young people don’t care. They want this bag.
I hear them sayin’ this June Box Bag is the “it” bag. The one everyone wants. Like them Beanie Babies back in the day. Everyone went crazy for them. This is the same thing, I guess. Just a different time. Everyone wants the same thing. They want to be cool. They want this bag.
Now, I ain’t sayin’ I wouldn’t want one. It is a nice lookin’ bag. But I’m just sayin’, it’s a lot of fuss over somethin’ to carry your things in. But that’s the way it is these days. Folks like their fancy things. And this YSL June Box Bag, well, it’s about as fancy as they come. It is a good bag. I think everyone should get one. But save your money first!
They say this bag is a must-have. Like you need it to live. I don’t know ’bout that, but okay. If you have money, get it. If you don’t, don’t get it. It is easy. This bag is like good food. Everyone wants good food.
