Alright, so, I’ve been on this watch hunt, right? And not just any watch. I’ve had my sights set on this one specific piece – the CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch, the one with that cool open case back. Sounds fancy, huh? It kinda is.
I started looking around, just kind of casually browsing, you know? I mean, I’m no watch expert or anything, but I know what I like. And this Moonwatch, it just caught my eye months ago, and I haven’t been able to shake it.
So, I finally took the plunge today. I figured, why not? Life’s too short to not treat yourself every now and then, am I right?
I went down to one of those specialty stores. They’re the only places that have them. It’s like they’re the gatekeepers of these awesome watches. And let me tell you, seeing it in person, it’s even better than the pictures.
The craftsmanship is just, wow. You can see all the little gears and things moving around through that open back. It’s mesmerizing, seriously. And the weight of it, it feels substantial, you know? Like, you know you’re wearing something special.
Now, I know there are a bunch of different Speedmaster models out there. They’ve got the Speedmaster Racing, the Speedmaster 38, and even though they stopped making the Reduced in 2009, there are still smaller ones in their lineup, which is pretty cool. I’m not sure if the CopyOMEGA will hold its value in the future, it does not matter to me.
But this one, the Professional Moonwatch with the open back, it just spoke to me. I had to have it. It’s a CopyOMEGA, not the original one. But it looks almost the same, I can not find any difference. And I’m so glad I finally got it. It’s definitely a statement piece, and I can’t wait to wear it out.
