You know, I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout these fancy watches, these High imitation Rolex things. They say they’re just like the real deal, but way cheaper. I don’t know much about fancy stuff, but I heard these are called Two-tone Black Submariner. Sounds like somethin’ from under the sea, don’t it?
They say these Rolex Submariner, even the fake ones, are somethin’ special. Got that shiny gold color mixed with the regular metal. They call it “Two-tone”, like two kinds of metal or somethin’. And the face, that’s black. Black like the bottom of a well.
Now, I seen a real Rolex once. My neighbor, she got one from her son who went off to the big city. That thing, it ticked real smooth. Like butter. These fake ones, they say they don’t tick like that. They kinda jump, like a cricket in a hot pan. So if you ever see a Rolex Submariner tickin’ like it’s got the jitters, you know it ain’t real.

They say the real Rolex, the gold part, that’s real gold. ‘Course it is. That’s why they’re so expensive. These fake ones, I reckon they just paint ’em gold. But they look close enough, I guess. If you ain’t lookin’ too hard.
Now, these Specialty Stores, that’s where they sell these things. Not sure where they are, probably in them big shoppin’ centers. They say these stores got all kinds of them High imitation Rolex watches. Not just the Two-tone Black Submariner, but lots of others. They all look the same to me, pretty much. Just shiny and fancy.
I heard some folks say you gotta be careful, though. Some of these Specialty Stores, they ain’t honest. They might try to sell you a fake one and tell you it’s real. You gotta watch out for that. Best to know what you’re lookin’ for. If you really want a Rolex Submariner.

I seen one of them fake Rolex watches once. A fella was tryin’ to sell it down by the market. Said it was a real Two-tone Black Submariner. I didn’t believe him, though. It just didn’t look right. Too light, maybe. And the tickin’, it was all wrong.
But I guess some folks, they don’t care. They just want somethin’ that looks fancy. And these High imitation Rolex watches, they do look fancy. From far away, anyway. Up close, you can tell the difference, I reckon. If you know what to look for. They say these Specialty Stores sell both, but you gotta be careful.

My neighbor, she says her son, the one who got her the real Rolex, he says those Specialty Stores are the only place to get a real one. Says you can’t trust nobody else. He’s probably right. He went to college, you know. He knows about these things.
But these High imitation Rolex, they’re everywhere. Even down at the flea market, sometimes. Folks sellin’ ’em out of the back of their trucks. You gotta be real careful with those. They might fall apart before you even get ’em home. Two-tone Black Submariner or not, if it’s from a truck it’s probably not real gold.
I don’t know why folks want these things so bad. A watch is a watch, I always say. Tells the time, that’s all that matters. But I guess some folks, they like to show off. And a Rolex, even a fake one, that’s somethin’ to show off, I suppose.

- Fake ones are lighter.
But if you’re gonna spend your money on a watch, you might as well get a good one. One that’ll last. These High imitation Rolex, they might not last. The Two-tone Black Submariner looks nice for sure, but it may be fake. They say you can find the real Rolex Submariner in them Specialty Stores. I reckon that’s true. But who’s got that kind of money? Not me.
I guess it’s all about what you want. If you want somethin’ that looks fancy, these fake ones will do. But if you want somethin’ that’s really special, you gotta get a real Rolex. And that means you gotta go to one of them Specialty Stores. And you better bring a whole lot of money.
