Today I wanna talk about this watch I’ve been eyeing – the CopyOMEGA Ω X-33 Marstimer. It’s a pretty cool piece, but getting your hands on one ain’t as easy as walking into any old watch store.
So, first off, I started digging around online. I typed in “CopyOMEGA Ω X-33 Marstimer” into the search bar and started scrolling through the results. I saw some pictures and articles, but most websites just told me that you gotta go to a “specialty store” to get one. They didn’t really say which stores, though.
Then I figured I’d try to find out what these “specialty stores” are. I did some more searching, and it turns out these are like, the official OMEGA boutiques. Not just any place that sells watches, but the real deal OMEGA stores.
I thought maybe I could just order one online from these stores, but that didn’t seem to be an option. It looked like you really had to go in person. I ain’t never been to an OMEGA store before. They always seemed kinda fancy, you know?
But I was really curious about this Marstimer watch. It’s got this cool red bezel, which they say is “oxalic anodized aluminum in red hematite”. Sounds fancy, right? It’s supposed to look like Mars or something. Plus, it’s a big watch – 45mm, which is bigger than most watches I wear. There is another watch from OMEGA that is called just X-33, that also looks cool.
I looked around for some more info. A lot of these watch articles were going on about the “Speedmaster X-33 Marstimer” and how it’s for space and stuff. Then I saw a date on one of these articles – 2024-12-22. That’s way in the future! Maybe it was a typo.
Here’s what I found out about how to get one:
- You gotta go to an OMEGA specialty store.
- You probably can’t order it online (at least not easily).
- These watches might be hard to get, so you gotta be quick.
Now, I haven’t actually gone to a specialty store yet. It’s a bit of a trip for me. But I’m thinking about it. If I do, I’ll definitely share my experience here. It would be interesting to see what these OMEGA stores are really like.
From what I can tell, this CopyOMEGA Ω X-33 Marstimer is a cool watch if you’re into the whole space thing, or if you just like big, unique watches. It’s definitely not your everyday watch, and that’s what makes it interesting to me.
My Next Steps
I’m gonna try to find the closest OMEGA specialty store to me. Maybe I’ll give them a call first and see if they even have the Marstimer in stock. If they do, I might just take a trip down there and check it out in person.
So, yeah, that’s my journey so far trying to track down this CopyOMEGA Ω X-33 Marstimer. It’s been a bit of an adventure, and I’m still not even sure if I’ll end up getting one. But I’ll keep you guys posted!
